Bodrum offers a beautiful costline with many small holiday resorts and some lovely sandy beaches with clear turquoise seas.
Torba is a delightful seaside village situated on the northern coast of the Bodrum peninsular, just 4 miles from the lively holiday town of Bodrum. The area is covered with lush pine forests with a small sand/pebble beach, the waters are crystal clear making it perfect for swimming and cooling off from the hot Summer days. This resort has a chilled out feel and offers the visitor some good quality water front restaurants along with a few relaxing bars. To visit Bodrum there is a regular and very inexpensive dolmus service.
Turgutreis is now a holiday resort in its own right. A number of quality hotels have been added over the past few years and the sophisticated Marina with its many boutiques, bars and high end restaurants gives the area a touch of class. The resort has a long sand and shingle beach which shelves gently making it an ideal choice for families with small children. A good selection of water sports are available, along with the usual parasols and sunbeds for rent. Each saturday during the summer season a market is held selling all kinds of pottery, local crafts, fashion clothing and much more. With Bodrum just along the coast this is an ideal choice if your not wanting to be in the hustle of a large holiday town but with everything on your doorstep.
Yaliciftlik is a great choice if your wanting to chill out and get away from it all. This is the most relaxing seaside village on the peninsular, offering just a few traditional restaurants a small pebble beach and a small selection of holiday accommodations. Nature lovers enjoy the long walks and from the small harbour it is possible to arrange for a boat to take you round to one of the many lovely coves.
Activities and Sports.
Many of the Hotels have tennis courts for there guests use and from various beaches in the area it is possible to arrange various water sports including sailing, windsurfing, cannoes, small boats and hobie cats all are available for rent.
There are a number of dive centres in and around Bodrum. Ask at the reception of your accommodation for prices and various courses.
You have the opportunity of playing or learning to play golf in the middle of Bodrum Peninsula which is both a peaceful and beautiful part of Turkey.
The Harmony club is designed as a Social Living Area which has a golf course with 5 holes, driving range, practice putting area, chipping area and bunkers. Restaurant, bar, cafe, and day spa with jaccuzzi facilities are also available in the Club. A Proshop operates for Players to buy or rent equipment in the club house, there is also a locker room with showers.
Bodrum Golf Club is going to keep you away from your everyday tiring tempo. You are going to feel chilled-out wandering around the hundred years old trees and on the green grass with little squirrels darting around. There is also a 1000m2 artificial pond in the club area. You may live unforgettable moments with your friends in a peaceful and quiet area, and make new selective friendships while you are playing golf.
At this time Bodrum is not a serious golf holiday destination.

Bodrum has many good quality restaurants and various bars for your evening entertainment. Wander through the narrow streets and take your pick for an early evening drink then try some typical turkish cusine in one of the local restaurants. This town starts early and ends late. Bodrum has gained a reputaition for a good nightlife with many bars offering all kinds of music, chilled out Ibiza style to up to the minute sounds played by resident DJ’s. What ever you are looking for it can be found in Bodrum and the surrounding holiday resorts.
